I am a professional pet sitter and member of Pet Sitters International.  I share this organization’s values to promote, support and recognize excellence in pet care.  I am part of a growing corps of entrepreneurs who love working with and caring for canine companions.  For me, it’s not work; it’s a way of life!

In 2005, I founded Miss Barks A Lot to be different from kennels, which are often confining and impersonal. In my home, you will find pet hair on the sofa, paw prints on the carpet and chests full of toys that engage dogs for hours.

I am a Poulsbo native.  Homesteading in Big Valley is part of my family’s heritage.  I lived in Hawaii for much of my adult life, employed in the food industry.  I have been a lover of finned, four-legged, feathered and furry friends since I was a child.  I love them all!

Currently, I also am active with Soroptimist International of Greater North Kitsap, working with other business women to improve lives.
